<브레이크뉴스 포천 = 김형렬 기자> 포천시 일동면 청소년지도협의회가 새 학기를 맞아 지역 사회의 미래인 청소년들을 든든하게 보호하고, 숨겨진 복지 사각지대를 해소하기 위해 발 벗고 나섰다.
일동면 청소년지도협의회는 지난 26일 일동고등학교 정문 등굣길에서 민관이 힘을 모아 ‘학교폭력 예방 및 위기 청소년 발굴 캠페인’을 전격 전개했다고 27일 밝혔다.

이날 캠페인 현장에는 협의회 위원들을 비롯해 일동고등학교 교직원과 재학생, 일동파출소 경찰관, 일동면 행정복지센터 공직자 등 30여 명이 대거 동참해 촘촘한 지역 안전망을 과시했다. 이들은 ‘학교폭력 없는 일동, 우정도 일등’이라는 톡톡 튀는 슬로건을 외치며 이른 아침 등교하는 학생들을 따뜻하게 맞이했다.
참석자들은 학생들에게 손수 준비한 홍보 물품을 나누어 주며 학교폭력 근절에 대한 공감대를 형성하는 한편, 주변의 어려운 친구들에게 관심을 기울이는 건전한 교우관계의 중요성을 거듭 강조했다.

일동면 청소년지도협의회 및 학교 측 관계자는 “청소년들의 신체적, 정서적 건강을 지켜내기 위해 앞으로도 관내 우범지대 순찰 등 예방 활동의 보폭을 꾸준히 넓혀갈 것”이라며, “청소년 비행을 막고 밝은 지역 문화를 조성하는 데 모든 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 입을 모았다.
