<브레이크뉴스 횡성 = 김일웅 기자> 횡성군 청일면 지역사회보장협의체가 관내 소외된 이웃들을 위해 정성이 듬뿍 담긴 짜장면 한 그릇으로 따뜻한 온정을 나누었다.
청일면 지역사회보장협의체는 지난 25일 복지 사각지대에 놓여 주기적인 안부 확인이 절실한 관내 취약계층 50가구를 직접 찾아가는 ‘오늘은 짜장 먹는 DAY’ 행사를 성황리에 전개했다고 27일 밝혔다.
이번 ‘오늘은 짜장 먹는 DAY’는 단순한 한 끼 식사 지원을 넘어, 협의체 위원들이 이른 아침부터 직접 신선한 재료를 손질하고 정성스레 짜장을 요리해 각 가정에 배달하는 밀착형 복지 특화사업이다.
위원들은 직접 만든 음식을 전달하며 어르신들의 건강과 주거 환경을 꼼꼼히 살피고, 추가적으로 필요한 맞춤형 복지 서비스가 있는지 파악해 촘촘하게 행정 자원과 연계하는 중추적인 역할을 수행했다.
박희순 청일면 지사협 민간위원장은 “우리 위원들은 단순히 짜장면을 배달하는 것이 아니라, 소외된 이웃을 향한 따뜻한 관심과 사랑을 배달한다는 사명감으로 이 사업에 임하고 있다”며, “앞으로도 이웃과 함께 호흡하는 꾸준한 나눔 활동을 통해 온기가 넘치는 살기 좋은 청일면을 만들어 나가는 데 앞장서겠다”고 강조했다.
