<브레이크뉴스 횡성 = 김일웅 기자> 횡성군 둔내면 지역사회가 성큼 다가온 봄을 맞아 주민들과 상춘객들에게 깨끗하고 쾌적한 '청정 둔내'를 선물하기 위해 대대적인 환경 정비에 팔을 걷어붙였다.

둔내면 자원봉사협의회는 27일 관내 각급 기관 및 단체 소속 자원봉사자 150여 명이 대거 참여한 가운데 ‘2026년 둔내면 봄맞이 대청소’를 전격 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 대청소는 기나긴 겨울 동안 시가지 골목과 주요 도로변 곳곳에 방치되어 있던 묵은 쓰레기를 말끔하게 씻어내어, 둔내면 특유의 청정한 이미지를 제고하고 산뜻한 봄맞이 분위기를 조성하자는 취지로 마련됐다.

이날 이른 아침부터 집결한 150여 명의 봉사자들은 시가지 물청소는 물론, 주민들이 애용하는 공공시설물 주변의 환경 정비와 방치된 생활 쓰레기 수거 등 쾌적한 마을을 만들기 위해 구슬땀을 흘렸다.
