브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= KB국민은행은 지난 26일 청소년들의 금융 접근성 제고를 위해 마이데이터 서비스 가입 연령을 청소년층으로 확대했다고 27일 밝혔다.
이번 서비스 확대는 2024년 4월 금융위원회가 발표한 ‘마이데이터 2.0’ 추진 과제를 바탕으로 관련 법령 개정에 따른 조치로, 기존 만 19세 이상이었던 KB마이데이터 서비스 대상을 만 14세 이상으로 확대한 것이다.
특히, KB국민은행은 청소년들의 금융정보가 무분별하게 활용되지 않도록 관련 가이드라인을 준수해 필요한 정보만 최소한으로 수집·제공한다. 성인 대상 서비스와 달리 은행 및 카드 등 일부 자산 정보만 반영해, 청소년들이 보다 안심하고 이용할 수 있도록 했다.
KB국민은행은 이번 서비스 확대를 기념해 KB금융그룹의 대표 슈퍼앱인 KB스타뱅킹 앱에 청소년 전용 ‘지출홈’ 페이지를 새롭게 마련했다.
해당 서비스에서는 마이데이터를 기반으로 지출 내역을 한눈에 확인 할 수 있으며, 주 단위 통계를 통해 용돈 관리를 보다 편리하게 할 수 있다. 향후에는 청소년의 체계적인 용돈 관리를 지원하기 위해 맞춤형 지출 관리 기능도 추가할 예정이다.
KB국민은행 관계자는 “청소년들이 안전한 환경에서 금융을 경험하고 건전한 소비 습관을 형성할 수 있도록 이번 서비스를 마련했다”며 “앞으로도 미래세대를 위한 포용금융 서비스 확대를 통해 금융 접근성과 편의성을 지속적으로 높여 나가겠다”고 말했다.
