이번 사업은 경제적 어려움과 돌봄 공백으로 영양 관리에 취약한 조손가정 20가구를 대상으로 진행된다. 지원 물품은 어르신의 기력 회복을 위한 영양식과 성장기 아동 맞춤형 영양제, 유산균 및 영양 간식 등으로 구성돼 조부모와 손자녀 모두에게 실질적인 도움이 될 수 있도록 마련됐다.
물품은 지역 복지기관인 동촌종합사회복지관 을 통해 각 가정에 전달될 예정이다.
박태희 청장은 “조손가정 어르신과 아이들이 건강한 일상을 보내는 데 이번 지원이 작은 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 우체국 네트워크와 지역 복지기관 간 협력을 바탕으로 소외된 이웃을 위한 맞춤형 사회공헌 활동을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

The support items consist of nutritious food to help restore the elderly's vitality, nutritional supplements tailored for growing children, probiotics, and nutritious snacks, designed to provide practical assistance to both grandparents and grandchildren.
The items are scheduled to be delivered to each household through the Dongchon Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, a local welfare organization. Director Park Tae-hee stated, “I hope this support will be of some small help to elderly people and children in grandparent-headed households in leading healthy daily lives,” adding, “Moving forward, we will continue to expand customized social contribution activities for marginalized neighbors based on cooperation between the post office network and local welfare organizations.”
