윤 의원은 "지방이 자체적으로 투자 동력을 확보하지 못하면 기업과 인재 유출을 막기 어렵다"고 지적하며, 대구시가 직접 투자에 참여해 안정적인 생태계를 만들 필요가 있다고 강조했다.
인재 정책도 주요 과제로 꼽혔다. 윤 의원은 “청년 인재들이 대구에 정착할 수 있도록 주거·일자리·여가가 결합된 환경과 AI 교육 인프라 구축이 필요하다”며 ‘AX 미래인재 캠퍼스’ 조성을 제안했다. 교육, 주거, 일자리를 함께 제공해 인재 유치를 강화하겠다는 전략이다.
규제 완화 필요성도 언급됐다. 윤 의원은 디지털 헬스케어와 의료바이오 분야를 중심으로 "과도한 규제는 완화해 글로벌 의료관광 수요를 대구로 끌어와야 한다"고 말했다.
이날 간담회에 참석한 대경ICT산업협회 관계자들은 드론·로봇 등 하드웨어 기업 유치와 해외 기업 입주 지원, AI 분야 진입장벽 완화 등을 건의했다. 지역 산업 생태계가 소프트웨어 분야를 넘어 확장되기 위해서는 정책 지원이 뒷받침돼야 한다는 의견이 이어졌다.
윤 의원은 "벤처투자와 인재 확보가 동시에 이뤄져야 산업 성장이 가능하다"며 "대구를 남부권 핵심 테크 허브로 키우겠다"고 강조했다.
