한국한의약진흥원은 ‘2026년 한의약 산업 분야별 인력양성 교육’을 4월 1일부터 11월 30일까지 진행한다고 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 한의약 산업 종사자와 한의대생은 물론 한의약에 관심 있는 일반인도 참여할 수 있으며, 전 과정은 온라인 플랫폼 ‘한e캠퍼스’를 통해 무료로 제공된다.
특히 올해는 상시 운영 체계로 전환해 수강생들이 기간 내 원하는 시간에 자유롭게 학습할 수 있도록 접근성과 편의성을 높였다. 또한 신규 과정에는 퀴즈 기능을 도입해 학습 몰입도와 흥미를 강화했다.
교육 과정은 △한의약품 △한의의료기기 △한의의료서비스 △한의응용제품 △한의약창업 △생활 속 한의학 등 6개 분야, 총 36개 콘텐츠로 구성됐다. 이 가운데 7개 신규 과정과 4개 심화 과정이 추가돼 산업 현장의 최신 트렌드와 실무 수요를 반영했다.
주요 내용으로는 한약재 계약재배 및 거래 방법, 건강기능식품 원료의 안전성·유효성 평가, 한약제제 임상시험과 CRO 역할, 의료기기 개발 절차 및 심사 기준, 주요국 한의약 제품 수출 제도와 정부 지원사업 등이 포함된다.
박태순 한국한의약진흥원 산업성장지원센터장은 “기획부터 사업화까지 산업 전주기를 아우르는 실무 중심 교육을 통해 종사자들의 역량 강화를 지원하겠다”며 “온라인 상시 교육 체계를 통해 더 많은 국민이 한의약 산업의 가치를 이해하고 전문성을 높이는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine to Operate ‘Oriental Medicine Industry Workforce Training’… Offered Free Online
The Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine is operating educational programs to strengthen the competitiveness of the oriental medicine industry and foster professional personnel.
The Institute announced that it will conduct the ‘2026 Sector-Specific Workforce Training for the Oriental Medicine Industry’ from April 1 to November 30.
This training is open to industry professionals, oriental medicine students, as well as the general public interested in oriental medicine, and the entire course is provided free of charge through the online platform ‘Han-e Campus.’
Notably, this year the program has transitioned to a continuous operation system to enhance accessibility and convenience, allowing students to study freely at their preferred times within the program period. Additionally, quiz features have been introduced to new courses to enhance learning engagement and interest.
The curriculum consists of a total of 36 contents across six fields: Korean traditional medicines, Korean traditional medical devices, Korean traditional medical services, applied Korean traditional products, Korean traditional medicine startups, and Korean traditional medicine in daily life. Among these, seven new courses and four advanced courses have been added to reflect the latest trends and practical demands of the industry.
Key topics include contract cultivation and trading methods for medicinal herbs, safety and efficacy evaluation of raw materials for health functional foods, clinical trials for medicinal preparations and the role of CROs, medical device development procedures and evaluation standards, and export systems for Korean traditional medicine products in major countries as well as government support programs.
Park Tae-soon, Head of the Industrial Growth Support Center at the Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine, stated, "We will support the capacity building of industry professionals through practical, hands-on training that encompasses the entire industry cycle from planning to commercialization." He added, "We hope that this continuous online education system will serve as an opportunity for more citizens to understand the value of the Korean traditional medicine industry and enhance their expertise."
