최 예비후보는 “공항신도시를 단순한 배후도시가 아닌 실질적인 경제 이익이 창출되는 항공물류 거점으로 육성하겠다”며 “의성을 동북아 항공물류 중심지로 도약시키고 산업과 일자리를 함께 키우는 구조를 만들겠다”고 밝혔다.
