【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=단양군청소년수련관은 인구감소지역 청소년성장지원사업의 일환으로 청소년이 직접 기획·운영하는 「청소년홍보단-우리동네 한바퀴!」 프로그램을 본격 운영한다고 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 지난 28일 첫 활동을 시작으로, 청소년들이 지역 곳곳을 탐방하며 숨겨진 명소와 지역자원을 발굴하고 이를 홍보하는 참여형 활동으로 추진된다.
청소년홍보단은 단양의 관광지와 문화자원을 직접 체험하고 기록하며 향후 단양군 자매결연도시 청소년들을 초청하는 교류 활동을 통해 지역의 매력을 알리는 ‘청소년 홍보대사’ 역할도 수행하게 된다.
이번 1기 활동에는 관내 청소년 40명이 참여했으며 ▲온달관광지 견학 ▲클레이사격장 체험 ▲도담삼봉 견학 및 모터보트 체험 등 다양한 프로그램이 운영됐다.
특히 문화해설사와 함께하는 현장 체험을 통해 단양의 역사와 문화에 대한 이해를 높이는 시간을 가졌다.
군 관계자는 “이번 지역특화활동은 청소년들이 자신이 살고 있는 지역을 깊이 이해하고, 지역사회와 함께 성장할 수 있는 계기를 마련하는 데 큰 의미가 있다”며 “앞으로도 청소년이 주도적으로 참여하는 다양한 프로그램을 확대해 지역 정착 기반을 강화해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
