3월 30일부터 4월 30일까지 보수공사… 지반 침하·배부름 현상 발견
4월 6일부터 BRT 등 대중교통 위해 1차로 우선 확보 방침
대전시가 시민의 안전을 위협할 수 있는 도로 결함을 조기에 차단하기 위해 천변도시고속화도로 원촌육교 일원의 전면 통제를 결정하고 긴급 보수공사에 돌입했다.
이번 공사는 원촌교네거리에서 신탄진 방향으로 진입하는 원촌육교 램프-B 구간의 측면 보강토 옹벽을 대상으로 진행된다.
대전시는 지난해 타 지자체에서 발생한 옹벽 붕괴 사고를 계기로 자체 안전 점검을 실시한 결과, 해당 구간에서 일부 지반이 내려앉거나 옹벽이 불룩하게 튀어나오는 배부름 현상을 포착했다.
이후 국토교통부 및 국토안전관리원과의 합동 점검을 거쳐 긴급 보수가 필요하다는 최종 판단을 내리고 즉각적인 조치에 나선 것이다.
이에 따라 3월 30일 오후 6시부터 4월 30일까지 약 한 달간 한밭대로 진입부에서 원촌교 구간, 그리고 문예지하차도에서 원촌육교에 이르는 신탄진 방향 상행 차로 전 구간이 통제된다.
대전시는 통행 불편을 최소화하기 위해 공사 초기 전면 통제 후 중앙분리대 정비를 신속히 마칠 계획이다. 오는 4월 6일부터는 상행 1차로를 우선 확보하여 BRT 등 대중교통이 통행할 수 있도록 방안을 강구하고 있다.
