전북 군산해양경찰서는 연안 활동객 증가에 따른 안전사고를 예방하기 위해 오는 5월 10일까지 강도 높은 예방 활동 및 단속에 나선다고 20일 밝혔다.
이 기간 동안 과거에 사고가 발생한 지역을 중심으로 안전 시설물 설치 상태 현장 점검ㆍ순찰 활동 강화ㆍ출입통제구역 무단 침입에 따른 계도 및 단속ㆍ현수막 게시 등 여러 수단을 활용한 홍보 활동이 전개된다.
출입통제구역을 무단으로 출입하면 연안사고예방법에 따라 100만 원 이하의 과태료가 부과된다.
낚시ㆍ사진 촬영 등 취미 목적이라 하더라도 최대 100만 원의 과태료가 부과될 수 있어 각별한 주의가 요구된다.
