대구사이버대학교(총장 이근용)는 지난 3월 30일 본관 C.I.R 회의실에서 전종국 전 부총장의 대학발전기금 전달식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
전 전 부총장은 지난 3월 3일 대학발전기금 1,100만 원을 기부했으며, 이 가운데 200만 원은 상담심리학과 학과 홍보 및 워크숍 운영을 위한 지정기부로 전달됐다.
이날 전달식에는 이근용 총장을 비롯해 박상희 교학처장, 김천수 평생교육원장, 기획예산팀장 등이 참석했으며, 기부자인 전 전 부총장도 함께 자리해 의미를 더했다.
이번 기부는 대학 발전과 학생 지원에 대한 기부자의 깊은 애정을 바탕으로 이뤄졌으며, 특히 상담심리학과의 교육 활동 활성화에 실질적인 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
이근용 총장은 “대학 발전을 위해 소중한 뜻을 보내주신 전종국 전 부총장께 깊이 감사드린다”며 “기탁된 발전기금은 대학 발전과 학생 지원, 학과 운영 활성화를 위해 의미 있게 활용하겠다”고 밝혔다.
