(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 31일, ‘계양아라온’과 ‘황어장터 3·1만세운동 역사문화센터’를 잇는 약 500m 보행 구간의 접근성 개선사업을 완료하고, 이용자 중심의 보행환경을 조성했다고 밝혔다.
계양구에 따르면, 이번 개선으로 계양아라온과 황어장터를 잇는 보행 동선이 한층 편리해지며, 단절돼 있던 이동 흐름이 하나의 연속된 동선으로 이어졌다.
이 길의 종점에 위치한 황어장터 3·1만세운동 역사문화센터는 지역의 대표적인 독립운동 기념 공간으로, 계양의 역사적 정체성을 상징하는 장소이다.
보행 구간은 유도선, 감성 문구, 관광 아이콘 등으로 구간별 특성을 달리해 구성했다.
