【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=오송첨단의료산업진흥재단(KBIOHealth) 바이오의약생산센터 는 3월 31일부터 4월 3일까지 일산 킨텍스에서 열리는 ‘KOREA PHARM & BIO 2026(국제의약품·바이오산업전)’에 참가해 바이오의약품 생산 지원 역량과 핵심 기술을 선보인다.
KBIOHealth는 전시 부스를 통해 재단의 주요 성과를 공유하고, 위탁제조(CMO) 서비스와 다양한 바이오의약품 생산 지원 역량을 소개한다.
특히 차세대 치료제로 주목받고 있는(mRNA, siRNA 등) 대응 역량이 주목된다. 바이오의학생산센터는 핵산 기반 물질의 안정적 전달을 위한 핵심 공정인‘지질나노입자(LNP, Lipid Nanoparticle) 제형화 기술’을 공개하며, 정밀 제어 기반 공정과 맞춤형 개발 역량을 통해 국내외 기업의 기술적 난제 해결을 지원할 계획이다.
김현일 바이오의약생산센터장은 “이번 전시는 센터의 생산기술 경쟁력과 적용범위를 현장에서 직접 확인할 수 있는 기회”라며, “핵산치료제를 포함한 다양한 바이오의약품 분야에서 국내 기업의 글로벌 경쟁력 확보를 적극 지원하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
한편, 센터는 전시 기간 동안 전문인력을 상시 배치해 방문객을 대상 기술 상담을 진행하고, 협력기회 발굴에도 나설 예정이다.
KBIOHealth 바이오의약생산센터는 비임상·임상용은 물론 상업용 생산까지 수행 가능한 시설로, 연구개발부터 생산까지 이어지는 원스톱 체계를 구축하고 있다.

Through its exhibition booth, KBIOHealth will share the Foundation’s major achievements and introduce its Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) services and diverse biopharmaceutical production support capabilities.
In particular, its capabilities to address next-generation therapies (such as mRNA and siRNA) are drawing attention.
