브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 아시아나항공이 31일 이탈리아 밀라노에 첫 정기편을 취항하며, 유럽 노선 네트워크를 확대한다.
아시아나항공은 이날 인천-밀라노 노선 첫 운항에 맞춰 인천국제공항 제2터미널 출국장에서 신규 취항 기념 행사를 진행했다.
행사에는 박종만 아시아나항공 여객본부장, 에밀리아 가토 주한 이탈리아 대사, 김보영 이탈리아 관광청 대표를 비롯해 이상용 인천국제공항공사 신사업본부장도 참석했다.
아시아나항공은 신규 취항을 기념해 특가 제공 프로모션을 진행했고, 행사 당일 밀라노행 항공기를 탑승하는 승객들을 대상으로 기념품을 증정했다.
인천-밀라노 노선은 주 3회(화·목·토) 운항되며, 인천공항에서 오후 1시 45분 출발해 밀라노공항에 현지시각 오후 8시에 도착한다. 밀라노공항에서는 현지시각 오후 10시에 출발해 인천공항에 다음날 오후 4시 35분에 도착하는 일정이다.
해당 노선에는 아시아나항공의 주력기종인 A350기종을 투입해 총 311석을(비즈니스 28석, 이코노미 283석) 제공한다.
아시아나항공 박종만 여객본부장은 “이번 밀라노 노선 취항을 통해 고객들의 유럽 여행 선택지를 보다 다양하게 한층 넓히고자 했다”며 “고객 편의와 안전을 최우선으로 노선 운영을 지속해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
