이는 이달 국무회의 시 계곡·하천 불법 시설물 조사와 관련해 대통령의 재조사주문에 따른 조치이다.
군은 이날 회의에서 대통령 지시에 따른 전국적인 불법 점용시설 정비 기조에 맞춰, 기존 단순 사후 단속과 철거를 넘어 사전 점검과 예방 활동을 강화하기로 논의했다.
조사의 실효성을 높이기 위해 3월부터 장기봉 부군수를 단장으로 하는 ‘하천·계곡 불법 단속 TF팀’을 구성하고 부서 간 공조를 통해 체계적인 정비를 본격화할 예정이다.
군은 하절기 야영객이 집중되는 생극면 차곡리 외계수를 중점 관리지역으로 지정하고, 국가하천, 지방하천, 소하천, 산림계곡, 구거, 세천 구역 내에서의 불법행위 근절에 나설 방침이다.
또 하천·계곡 불법시설 전수조사에 앞서 9개 읍면에 무단 점유 및 불법행위 금지 현수막을 게첨하는 등 사전홍보에도 박차를 가하고 있다.
