[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시가 31일 박완수 경남지사를 초청해 장유 시민과의 대화를 개최해 주민들의 다양한 의견과 건의사항을 청취하는 소통의 시간을 마련해 눈길을 끌었다.
이번 행사는 인구 증가와 함께 김해의 핵심 생활권으로 성장한 장유지역의 주요 현안을 경남도와 김해시가 함께 듣고 해결방안을 모색하기 위해 추진됐다.
장유 시민과의 대화애서는 장유 발전과 주민 불편 해소를 위한 다양한 의견이 제시되며 높은 관심을 모았다.
이날 김해 장유권 달빛어린이병원 지정 요청을 비롯 장유~창원 간 시내버스 문제 해결, 김해~밀양 고속도로 창원 노선 연장 조속 추진, 화물차 밤샘주차 문제 및 차고지 조성, 장유여객터미널 개장 촉구 등 장유 주민들의 생활과 직결된 현안이 집중적으로 제기됐다.
이에 대해 경남도와 김해시는 주민 의견을 면밀히 검토하고, 도와 시의 역할을 나눠 실질적인 해결방안을 마련해 나가기로 했다.
홍태용 시장은 “장유는 김해의 미래 성장을 이끄는 중요한 지역인 만큼 주민들의 목소리를 현장에서 직접 듣고, 경남도와 함께 해법을 찾는 자리가 꼭 필요했다”며 “도와 시가 긴밀히 협력해 장유 발전과 시민 생활편의 증진에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
