[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시는 31일 기흥구 보라동 일대에서 보라동행정복지센터 신청사 개청식을 개최했다.
보라동은 2020년 1월 상갈동에서 분동된 이후 늘어나는 행정 수요에 대응하기 위해 청사 건립을 추진해 왔으며 2025년 12월 준공을 거쳐 본격적인 운영에 들어갔다.
신청사는 지하 1층에서 지상 3층까지 연면적 4570제곱미터 규모로 조성됐다. 1층에는 민원실과 복지상담실이 위치하며 2층에는 주민자치센터 강의실과 열린도서관 및 다목적실이 들어섰다. 3층은 강당과 체력단련실로 구성되어 시민들에게 다양한 행정 및 문화 편의를 제공한다.
