[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 오는 5월 20일까지 2027년도 예산편성을 위한 주민참여예산 제안사업을 대대적으로 공모한다고 1일 밝혔다.
이번 공모는 시민들이 일상에서 겪는 불편함을 정책으로 전환하고, 지역에 꼭 필요한 사업을 직접 제안함으로써 행정의 문턱을 낮추는 핵심 소통 창구 역할을 할 전망이다.
올해 공모 규모는 총 30억 원으로, 사업의 성격과 범위에 따라 ▲시 정책사업(5억원) ▲구 정책사업(15억원) ▲읍면동 생활안전형 사업(10억원)으로 총 3개 분야, 30억원 규모로 시행된다.
지난해 창원시는 이 제도를 통해 총 97개 사업, 약 30억 원의 예산을 편성하며 시민들의 목소리를 현실화했다. 양덕로 보행자 안전난간 설치, 동읍 저수지 제방도로 가드레일 설치, 동구산 둘레길 정비사업 등 주민 생활과 밀접한 사업이다.
