올해 장학생 선발인원은 총 814명이며, 장학금 지원 규모는 6억2960만원이다.
이번에 모집하는 분야는 △성적우수 △점프(학력신장) △특기 △다문화·외국인 △지정 △해외 △희망(장애) △꿈드림 △다자녀 △관내대학 진학 등 10개 분야다.
또한 △전입 △군민평생 △취업연계형 등 3개 분야는 추후 별도로 모집할 예정이다.
특히 올해는 장학생 선발기준을 일부 개선하고, 다문화·외국인 분야 지원을 확대해 보다 다양한 환경에 있는 학생들이 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 했다.
신청 자격은 공고일 기준 1년 이상 음성군에 주민등록을 두고 계속 거주하는 군민 또는 군민의 자녀로, 학교장 추천 등을 통해 신청할 수 있다.
장학금 신청은 음성군장학회 누리집을 통해 먼저 온라인으로 접수한 후 관련 서류를 우편 또는 방문 제출하면 된다.
