[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 함안군은 1일 근로자 복지와 지역 상생을 위한 ‘복합문화센터’ 개소식을 법수농공단지에서 갖고 본격 운영에 들어갔다.

복합문화센터는 입주기업 근로자의 삶의 질을 높이고 기업과 지역주민이 함께 어우러지는 문화 거점 공간으로 조성됐다. 군은 4월 한 달간 시범 운영을 거친 뒤 5월부터 정상 운영할 계획이다.

복합문화센터는 2022년 한국산업단지공단 공모사업에 선정돼 추진됐다.

국비 27억 원, 지방비 29억 원 등 총 56억 원을 들여 연면적 985㎡, 지상 3층 규모로 건립됐다.

센터에는 다목적 문화공간과 체력단련실 등을 갖춰 근로자들이 여가와 건강을 함께 챙길 수 있는 복지·문화 공간으로 활용된다.
