【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구가 남산3동 일대 주차난 해소를 위해 공영주차장 조성을 마치고, 4월 한 달간 무료로 운영한다.
중구청에 따르면, 남산동 2376-2 일원에 지상 4층, 103면 규모로 지어진 남산3동 공영주차장이 지난달 완공됐다.
주차장은 총면적 2,609.52㎡이며, 이번 사업에는 102억 원이 투입됐다.
구는 시범 운영 기간 동안 주차장 운영 시스템을 점검하고, 이용자 불편사항을 청취한 뒤 5월 1일부터 유료로 전환할 계획이다.
유료 운영 시간은 평일 오전 8시부터 오후 8시까지이며, 일요일과 공휴일은 휴장한다.
중구청 관계자는 “공영주차장 조성이 인근 지역 주차난 해소와 교통환경 개선에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 보인다”며 “앞으로도 주민 편의 증진을 위해 주차환경 개선사업을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
