<브레이크뉴스 가평 = 이용하 기자> 가평군 청평면이 소외된 이웃의 닫힌 문을 두드리는 따뜻한 복지 밀착 마크에 돌입했다.
가평군 청평면 지역사회보장협의체(이하 지사협)는 취약계층의 안부를 주기적으로 확인하고 실질적인 도움을 제공하기 위한 특화사업인 ‘1:1 결연 안부톡톡’ 프로젝트를 본격적으로 시작했다고 밝혔다.
한국수력원자력㈜ 청평수력발전소의 든든한 후원을 바탕으로 이달부터 오는 12월까지 진행되는 이번 사업은, 지사협 위원들과 독거 어르신 등 지역 내 소외 가구를 1:1로 매칭해 촘촘한 복지 안전망을 구축하는 데 중점을 두고 있다.
결연을 맺은 지사협 위원들은 매월 1회 이상 대상 가구를 직접 찾아가 생필품 등 따뜻한 정이 담긴 후원 물품을 전달한다. 특히 단순한 물품 지원에 그치지 않고 현장에서 어르신들의 생활 실태와 복지 욕구를 면밀히 파악해, 가구별로 가장 필요한 맞춤형 복지 서비스를 신속하게 연계할 방침이다.
양옥연 민간위원장은 “지리적·환경적 특성상 도움이 필요한 소외 이웃이 많은 우리 지역에 절대적으로 필요한 사업”이라며, “현장에서 대상자들의 형편을 꼼꼼히 살피고 피부에 와닿는 실질적인 복지 서비스가 제공될 수 있도록 발로 뛰겠다”고 다짐했다.
