횡성군지역사회보장협의체는 지난 1일부터 2일까지 이틀간 강릉 세인트존스호텔 등지에서 ‘제6기 지역사회보장계획(2027~2030)’ 수립을 위한 민·관 협력 워크숍을 성공적으로 개최했다고 밝혔다.

“마음을 잇고 삶을 보듬는 서로돌봄 공동체 횡성”이라는 따뜻한 비전 아래 열린 이번 워크숍은, 횡성군 복지정책의 새로운 이정표가 될 중장기 핵심 전략을 모색하기 위해 마련됐다. 현장에는 김명기 공공위원장과 박성길 민간위원장을 비롯해 군·읍·면 협의체 위원 및 실무 공무원 등 80여 명이 대거 참석해 횡성형 복지 실현을 위한 뜨거운 열기를 뿜어냈다.
워크숍은 전문가들의 심도 있는 분석과 강연으로 포문을 열었다. 송호대학교 사회복지학과 추교정 교수가 ‘제6기 지역사회보장계획 수립 전략 방향’을 주제로 날카로운 통찰을 제시했으며, 이어 이소영 교수가 최근 진행된 ‘횡성군 지역사회보장조사’ 결과를 바탕으로 군민들의 생생한 복지 욕구와 지역적 특성을 짚어내며 데이터 기반의 과학적 대안을 주문했다.

행사의 백미는 단연 8개 영역으로 나뉘어 진행된 분임 토의였다. 참석자들은 ▲통합돌봄 ▲일반돌봄 ▲건강 ▲고용 ▲교육 ▲문화 ▲보호·안전 ▲주거 등 군민의 삶과 직결된 분야를 두고 열띤 난상토론을 벌였으며, 이를 통해 지역 실정에 딱 맞는 핵심 전략과제를 도출해 내는 성과를 거뒀다.
박성길 민간위원장은 “이번 워크숍은 성공적인 제6기 지역사회보장계획 수립을 위해 민과 관이 허심탄회하게 소통하고 지혜를 모은 뜻깊은 자리였다”며, “오늘 치열한 논의 끝에 도출된 전략 과제들이 횡성군민의 일상에 실질적이고 따뜻한 변화를 이끌어낼 수 있도록 전력을 다하겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.
