[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 입산객이 증가하는 5, 6일 청명과 한식과 봄철 산불 예방을 위해 산림청 산하 양산국유림관리소(산불특수진화대)와 시 공원녹지사업소 산불대응센터가 합동으로 공동 대응에 나선다고 3일 밝혔다.
이번 첫 공동 대응 조치는 양 기관의 협조 체계에 따른 것으로 양산국유림관리소 산불특수진화대는 1개 팀(10명)과 험지펌프차, 다목적 산불진화차 각 1대를 김해에 배치해 봄철 대형 산불 초기 대응에 대비한다.
산불특수진화대는 다양화·고도화되는 산불 현장 최일선에 투입되는 산불 진화 전문 조직으로 이번에 김해를 거점으로 부산·울산·경남 권역 전반에 걸쳐 거점별 산불 대응 활동을 수행할 예정이다.
시 관계자는 “산불특수진화대 전진 배치를 계기로 신속한 출동 체계를 구축하고, 연중 발생하는 산불에 상시 대응해 피해를 최소화할 것”이라며 “앞으로 산림청(양산국유림관리소)과 김해시의 합동 산불대응센터 운영을 상설화해 산불 대응 역량을 더욱 강화해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
