브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성전자가 3일 경기도 용인에 위치한 ‘The UniverSE’에서 협력회사 협의회(협성회) 회원사들과 ‘2026년 DS부문 상생협력 DAY’를 개최했다.
상생협력 DAY는 삼성 주요 경영진과 협성회 간 화합을 도모하고, 협력회사와의 소통 및 동반성장 의지를 다지기 위해 2012년부터 진행돼 왔다. 2025년부터는 DS부문과 DX부문이 상생협력 DAY를 분리 운영해 보다 심도 있게 협력방안을 모색하고 있다.
DS 상생협력 DAY는 전영현 삼성전자 대표이사 부회장을 비롯한 삼성전자 DS부문 주요 경영진과, 협성회 회장을 맡고 있는 김영재 대덕전자 대표 포함해 64개 회원사 대표 등 90여 명이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.
이날 행사에서는 △우수 협력회사 시상 △DS부문 사업 전략 소개 △중장기 기술 로드맵 공유 등을 통해 삼성전자와 협력회사가 함께 나아가야 할 방향을 제시했다.
먼저ㅏ 삼성전자 DS부문은 지난 한 해 동안 기술/품질혁신, ESG, 비용효율화 부문에서 우수한 성과를 거둔 17개 협력회사를 선정해 시상했다.
반도체 장비/소재를 공급하는 ‘케이씨텍’은 제조 경쟁력 강화를 위해 해외 의존도가 높던 소재를 국산화한 성과를 인정받아 기술혁신 부문 최우수상을 수상했다.
반도체 설비 부품을 세정/코팅하는 ‘코미코’는 국제 공인시험·교정기관에서 인증한 전문 분석 센터를 운영하며, 부품 출하 품질을 강화한 성과를 인정받아 품질혁신 부문 최우수상을 수상했다.
반도체 공정에 필요한 가스(Gas)를 공급하는 ‘린데코리아’는 태양광 설비 도입, 공장 효율 개선을 통해 온실가스 배출을 감축하는 등 환경경영 활동 성과를 인정받아 ESG 부문 우수상을 수상했다.
반도체 장비(CVD 등)를 공급하는 ‘원익아이피에스’는 국산화를 통한 투자 효율성 제고 성과가 국내 반도체 산업 전반에 긍정적 영향을 미친 사례로 인정받아 비용효율화 부문 최우수상을 수상했다.
전영현 삼성전자 부회장(DS부문장)은 “DS부문이 기술 혁신을 지속할 수 있었던 것은 협력회사와 긴밀한 협력이 있었기에 가능한 결과”라며 “협력회사와 함께 성장하는 산업 생태계 구축을 위해 파트너십을 강화하고, 소통과 기술 교류를 바탕으로 동반성장을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
삼성전자는 협력회사를 대상으로 경쟁력 향상을 위해 △자금 △기술 △인력 3개 분야 중심으로 맞춤형 지원을 실시하고 있다.
삼성전자 DS부문은 사업장에 상주하는 협력회사 임직원의 작업품질 향상, 사업장 내 안전사고 예방을 위해 우수 협력회사를 선정해 인센티브를 지급하고 있다.
또한, 삼성전자는 2005년 국내 기업 최초로 중소·중견 협력회사에 거래대금을 현금으로 지급하기 시작했고, 2010년 상생펀드를 조성해 △설비투자 △연구개발 △회사 운영자금을 저금리로 대출 지원하고 있다.
ESG펀드를 조성해 에너지 사용 저감, 사업장 환경안전 강화 등 협력회사의 ESG 경영 기반 구축을 위한 자금을 무이자로 제공하고 있다.
아울러 삼성전자는 2013년부터 ‘공동투자형 기술개발사업’에 참여해 중소벤처기업부와 총 500억 원의 자금을 조성해 중소기업의 기술개발을 지원하고 있으며, DS부문은 2025년까지 누적 11건의 과제를 추진했다.
삼성전자 DS부문은 국내 반도체 생태계 강화를 위해 소부장 기업이 개발한 제품이 국내는 물론, 글로벌 시장으로 확대될 수 있도록 생산 인프라를 지원하고, 자체 제작한 패턴 웨이퍼를 국내 기업 및 연구기관에 제공해 개발 역량 향상에 기여하고 있다.
협력회사 경쟁력 강화를 위해 맞춤형 컨설팅과 교육 프로그램도 운영 중이다.
컨설팅은 현재까지 299개사를 대상으로 진행됐으며, △시스템 구축 △공정 프로세스 개선 △품질 제고 관련 컨설팅을 무상으로 제공하고 있다.
2013년 설립된 상생협력 아카데미를 통해 온∙오프라인 교육 과정을 무료로 제공하고 있으며, 2022년부터 반도체 산업 특성을 반영한 교육 체계를 구축해 현재까지 1300여 개사에서 약 10만5000명이 관련 교육을 수료했다.
앞으로도 삼성전자 DS부문은 협력회사와 긴밀한 파트너십을 기반으로 기술 경쟁력을 고도화하고, 글로벌 반도체 산업 생태계의 지속가능한 성장을 주도해 나갈 계획이다.
