세종특별자치시는 제12회 국민안전의 날을 맞아 4월 13일부터 18일까지 ‘2026년 상반기 세종시민 안전주간’을 운영하며 시민 안전 문화 확산에 나선다.
‘안전으로 하나되는 우리, 함께 만드는 안전습관’을 주제로 진행되는 이번 안전주간은 안전 관련 행사와 캠페인을 한데 모아 시민들의 참여와 관심을 높이는 데 초점을 맞췄다.
행사의 핵심인 ‘제12회 세종어린이 안전체험교실’은 작년 시민들의 높은 호응에 힘입어 기존 2일에서 3일로 기간이 연장돼 16일부터 18일까지 세종컨벤션센터에서 개최된다. 이곳에서는 교통안전, 재난 대처, 화재 대응 등 실제 생활에서 발생할 수 있는 다양한 위험 상황에 대비한 맞춤형 안전 교육을 제공한다.
