대통령 소속 국가지식재산위원회가 주관한 ‘2025년도 국가지식재산 시행계획 추진실적 점검·평가’에서 대전광역시가 광역지자체 부문 최우수 기관으로 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
이번 평가는 국가지식재산 전략의 실효성을 높이기 위해 매년 14개 중앙행정기관과 17개 광역지자체를 대상으로 시행된다.
국가지식재산위원회는 각 기관이 추진한 정책의 우수성, 파급효과, 지역 특성에 맞춘 지식재산 활성화 전략 등을 종합적으로 심사해 최우수 과제와 기관을 확정했다.
대전시는 중소·벤처기업의 혁신 성장을 돕기 위해 지식재산권의 기술이전부터 가치평가, 분쟁 대응에 이르기까지 전 주기에 걸친 맞춤형 지원 체계를 구축한 점이 높은 점수를 받았다.
특히 지역 내 기업들이 보유한 아이디어를 권리화하고 이를 사업화로 연결하는 실질적인 성과를 거두며 지식재산 선도 도시로서의 위상을 굳건히 했다는 평가다.
대전시는 이번 수상을 계기로 지식재산을 기반으로 한 기업 지원 정책을 더욱 고도화하여, 대전이 대한민국을 넘어 글로벌 지식재산 허브 도시로 도약할 수 있도록 행정력을 집중할 계획이다.
