【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군이 지역 대표 축제인 ‘증평인삼골축제’와 ‘증평들노래축제’의 올해 일정을 확정하고 본격적인 준비에 들어간다.
군에 따르면, 지난 2일 문화예술진흥위원회 심의를 거쳐 두 축제의 개최 시기가 최종 확정됐다.
지역 고유 문화자원을 기반으로 한 대표 축제의 방향과 일정이 정리되면서 관광객 유치와 프로그램 준비도 속도를 낼 전망이다.
먼저 전통 농경문화를 계승·발전시키기 위한 증평들노래축제는 6월 13일부터 14일까지 이틀간 증평민속체험박물관 일원에서 개최된다.
들노래 시연과 체험 프로그램 등을 통해 전통 농요 문화를 현대적으로 재해석하고 관람객이 함께 참여하는 축제로 운영될 예정이다.
증평군의 대표 축제인 증평인삼골축제는 오는 10월 8일부터 11일까지 4일간 보강천 체육공원 일원에서 열린다.
증평인삼골축제는 올해 충청북도 지정 우수축제로 선정되며 지역 대표 축제로서의 경쟁력과 성장 가능성을 다시 한번 인정받았다.
다양한 체험 프로그램과 공연, 농특산물 판매 행사 등이 마련돼 지역 농특산물 홍보와 관광 활성화에도 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.
군 관계자는 “증평을 대표하는 두 축제가 지역의 문화적 매력과 자원을 널리 알리는 계기가 될 수 있도록 준비에 만전을 기하겠다”며 “군민과 관광객이 함께 즐길 수 있는 내실 있는 축제로 만들어 가겠다”고 말했다.
