【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시는 행정안전부가 주관한 ‘데이터기반행정 실태점검 및 공공데이터 제공운영 실태 평가’에서 2024년에 이어 2025년에도 우수 등급을 획득하며, 2년 연속 ‘우수기관’으로 선정되는 쾌거를 이뤘다고 3일 밝혔다.
이번 평가는 행정안전부가 전국 685개 행정 및 공공기관을 대상으로 공공데이터와 데이터기반행정 운영 실태를 평가하는 제도다.
시는 「데이터 기반 행정 활성화에 관한 조례」를 근거로 데이터 기반 과학적 의사결정 체계를 구축하고, 시민 체감형 공공데이터 개방성과 품질관리 체계를 운영한 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
주요 성과로는 관광·축제·인구·일자리 등 다양한 분야에서 빅데이터 분석을 추진하고 적극 활용한 점이 꼽힌다.
대표 사례로, ‘충주시 대표누리집 검색’ 데이터를 분석해 시민들이 자주 찾는 정보를 사전정보공표 목록에 반영, 행정서비스 개선과 시민 정보 접근성 향상에 기여했다.
또한 중원역사문화레포츠특구 평가 과정에서는 ‘중앙탑공원 일원 방문객’과 ‘지역 소비·체류 특성’ 데이터가 핵심 근거 자료로 활용돼, 국무총리상 수상에도 실질적으로 기여한 것으로 시는 설명했다.
