현대차는 장애인 고용 확대와 사회적 책임을 다하기 위해 100% 지분을 출자해 자회사형 장애인 표준사업장 ‘현대무브(Hyundai MOVE)’를 설립했다고 6일 밝혔다.
현대무브의 사명에는 장애인 근로자들이 일을 통해 사회의 일원으로 성장하고 이들이 만든 진정성 있는 결과물이 고객의 마음을 움직인다는 의미를 담고 있으며, 끊임없이 움직이고 나아가겠다는 역동성도 포함됐다.
현대무브의 사업장은 경기 의왕시에 위치하며 장애인 채용을 통해 올해 하반기부터 본격적인 운영에 들어갈 예정이다.
현대무브는 장애인 근로자들에게 체계적인 직무 교육을 제공해 각 분야의 전문 역량을 갖춘 인재로 육성할 계획이다.
현대무브의 첫 사업은 구움약과와 쌀마들렌 같이 한국의 전통 간식을 현대적인 감각으로 재해석한 ‘K-디저트’ 베이커리 제조다.
