[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 산청군이 청년들의 주거비 부담을 완화하고 안정적인 지역 정착을 지원하기 위해 ‘청년 월세 지원사업’ 신청을 받는다고 6일 밝혔다.
대상은 부모와 별도로 거주하는 19세부터 34세까지의 무주택 청년으로 소득과 재산 기준을 모두 충족해야 한다.
소득 기준은 청년 독립 가구 기준 중위소득 60% 이하이며 부모를 포함한 원가구 기준 중위소득은 100% 이하여야 한다.
재산 기준은 청년 가구 1억 2200만원 이하, 원가구 4억 7000만원 이하이다.
지원은 생애 1회에 한해 월 최대 20만원씩, 최장 24개월간(총 480만 원) 월세를 지원받는다.
단 임차보증금과 관리비는 지원 대상에서 제외되며 주택 소유자, 공공임대주택 거주자, 기존 한시 지원사업을 통해 이미 24개월 지원을 받은 경우 신청이 제한된다.
신청은 5월 29일까지 온라인 ‘복지로’ 누리집 또는 산청군청 미래전략담당관, 주소지 읍면사무소 방문을 통해 가능하다.
대상자는 심사를 거쳐 오는 9월 중 선정하고 5월분 월세부터 소급해 지원할 예정이다.

Sancheong County announced on the 6th that it is accepting applications for the "Youth Monthly Rent Support Project" to alleviate the burden of housing costs for young people and support their stable settlement in the region.
Eligibility is limited to non-homeowning youth aged 19 to 34 who live separately from their parents and meet both income and asset criteria.
The income criteria require the income of an independent youth household to be 60% or less of the median income, while the median income of the original household (including parents) must be 100% or less.
The asset criteria are 122 million won or less for the youth household and 470 million won or less for the original household.
Support is provided once in a lifetime, offering a maximum of 200,000 won per month for up to 24 months (totaling 4.8 million won) in monthly rent assistance. However, security deposits and maintenance fees are excluded from the support, and applications are restricted for homeowners, residents of public rental housing, and those who have already received 24 months of support through existing temporary support programs.
Applications can be submitted online via the ‘Bokjiro’ website, or by visiting the Future Strategy Division at the Sancheong County Office or the local Eup/Myeon office until May 29.
Eligible recipients will be selected in September following a screening process, and support will be provided retroactively starting from the May rent.
