[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 전재수 국회의원(더불어민주당, 부산 북구갑)이 회색빛 부산을 바람이 흐르고 아이들이 뛰노는 생태 도시로 재편하기 위한 ‘그린시티 부산’ 청사진을 공개했다. 전 의원은 SNS를 통해 “나무를 심는 것은 미래를 심는 일”이라며, 환경 오염 차단과 시민 보상형 녹지 정책을 결합한 구체적인 실행 방안을 제시했다.
전재수 의원은 3대 공약으로 ▲노후 산업단지와 부산항 배후부지에 오염물질 유입을 차단하는 거대 ‘그린방파제’를 조성해 미세먼지와 악취 없는 도시를 만들고, ▲시민이 직접 가꾼 나무의 탄소 흡수량을 지역화폐로 환급하는 ‘나무연금’ 도입 및 ‘10분 그늘길’ 등 생활권 녹지를 부산 전역에 확충하며, ▲낙동강과 금정산을 세계적 생태관광 거점으로 육성해 그 결실이 서부산의 성장으로 이어지도록 하는 동서 균형발전의 기틀을 마련하겠다고 약속했다.

전 의원은 이번 비전 발표를 통해 단순히 녹지를 늘리는 차원을 넘어, 환경 정책을 지역 경제 및 시민 복지와 결합한 혁신적인 도시 모델을 제시했다.
그는 “정치는 말이 아니라 결과”라고 강조하며, “더 푸른 부산과 시원한 내일을 위해 시민의 삶에 실질적으로 뿌리내리는 정치적 결과물을 끊임없이 만들어내겠다”라고 밝혔다.

Representative Jeon Jae-soo promised to build a massive Green Breakwater at aging industrial complexes and Busan Port hinterlands to block pollutants and create a city free of fine dust and odors, introduce a Tree Pension to return the carbon absorption value of citizen-grown trees via local currency while expanding lifestyle-based greenery like 10-Minute Shade Paths across Busan, and develop the Nakdong River and Geumjeongsan Mountain into world-class ecological tourism hubs to ensure those results lead to the growth of West Busan and achieve balanced regional development.
