김하균 세종시장 권한대행이 7일 시정 운영의 기본과 원칙을 재정비하고 행정 체계를 단단히 다져야 시정 5기를 흔들림 없이 맞이할 수 있다고 빍혔다.
김 대행은 이날 시청 집현실에서 열린 간부회의에서 “주요 현안을 상시 점검하고 보고 체계를 정례화하면서 업무의 기준과 우선순위를 바로 세우자”며 이같이 말했다.
특히 각 실국은 기초·광역사무가 혼재된 현 시정 체계를 면밀히 살펴 기능과 역할을 재정립하고, 한정된 인력과 재원을 효율적으로 배분하는 것에 집중해줄 것을 당부했다.
김 대행은 “예산 부족을 이유로 필요한 조치를 미루기보다는 가용 자원을 활용해 조치를 해야한다”며 “행정 관련 데이터를 주기적으로 현행화하면서 객관적인 자료를 기반으로 시정을 운영해야 한다”고 주문했다.
업무 전반에 대한 기강과 책임에 대해서도 언급했다.
김 대행은 “유연근무나 출장 등 복무 규정을 준수하고 시민의 안전과 일상을 지킨다는 사명감으로 일하는 것이 공무원의 도리”라며 “보고 체계와 업무 추진 등에 있어 해이함이 발생하지 않도록 엄격한 자세를 유지하자”고 강조했다.
시민 안전을 위해 산불이나 침수 등 재난취약구역에 대한 사전 점검도 해줄 것을 당부했다.
