시는 임산부에게 친환경 농산물 꾸러미를 제공해 산모와 태아의 영양 관리를 돕고, 안전한 먹거리 환경 조성을 목표로 해당 사업을 시행한다.
신청 기간은 오는 26일까지이며, 지원 대상은 2025년 1월 1일 이후 출산한 산모 또는 신청일 기준 임신부다. 다만 영양플러스 사업 및 농식품바우처 지원 대상자는 제외된다.
지원 규모는 총 800명으로, 1인당 44만 원(상반기 20만 원, 하반기 24만 원)이 지원된다. 총사업비는 3억 5,440만 원이며, 이 중 20%는 자부담이다.
선정된 대상자는 친환경 농산물 꾸러미를 가정으로 배송받을 수 있어 외출이 어려운 임산부의 이용 편의가 크게 향상될 것으로 기대된다.
이용은 경북도 농특산물 온라인 쇼핑몰 사이소를 통해 가능하며, 1회 주문 금액은 4만 원에서 10만 원 사이로 농산물 비중을 50% 이상 포함해야 한다.
경주시는 이달 중 신청 접수와 대상자 선정을 마친 뒤 온라인 쇼핑몰을 개방하고, 다음 달부터 본격적인 꾸러미 공급에 나설 계획이다.
최혁준 경주시장 권한대행은 “이번 사업이 임산부의 건강한 식생활 지원은 물론 지역 친환경 농산물 소비 확대에도 기여할 것으로 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 복지정책을 지속적으로 추진해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 지난해에는 총 2억 1,100만 원의 사업비를 투입해 589명의 임산부에게 친환경 농산물 꾸러미를 지원한 바 있다.
