또한 “민주당이 다수 의석에 안주해 자정 능력을 잃었다”며, “당내 계파 갈등 속 정치적 이해관계에 따라 잣대가 달라지는 이중 기준이 작동하고 있다”고 지적했다.
특히 김부겸 후보를 겨냥해서는 “대구에 대한 비전보다 당내 정치 일정에 따른 전략적 선택 아니냐는 의문이 제기되고 있다”며 “대구는 정치적 도구가 아니라, 오직 시민의 삶으로 평가받아야 하는 도시”라고 강조했다.
추 후보 측은 “실력과 진심으로 대구의 자부심을 꼭 지켜내겠다”고 밝혔다.
