산청군, 학생 야간 통학택시비 지원사업 실시

[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 산청군은 학생 야간 통학택시비 지원사업을 본격 실시한다고 9일 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 야간 시간대 자율학습, 방과후 활동 등으로 늦게 귀가하는 청소년들의 안전한 이동을 지원하기 위해 추진한다.

앞서 산청군은 지난해 9월 보건복지부 사회보장제도 신설 협의를 시작으로 올해 초 관련 조례 제정 및 추경예산을 확보한 바 있다.

또 지역 내 고등학교 수요조사 및 사업신청 접수를 완료해 지원사업에 착수했다.

산청군은 이번 사업이 야간 시간대 대중교통 이용이 불가한 청소년들의 귀가 부담을 줄이고 범죄 및 각종 안전사고를 예방할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

특히 야간 귀가 과정에서 청소년과 학부모가 느끼는 불안을 해소하고 보다 안전한 교육환경을 조성할 전망이다.

지원 대상은 학교로부터 반경 2㎞ 이상 떨어진 지역에 거주하는 고등학생이며 야간자율학습 등 학교 교육프로그램을 마친 이후 귀가 시 택시비(1인당 연 최대 200만원)가 지원된다.
