스마트 단말기 활용해 정밀도 높여
세종특별자치시가 시민들의 길 찾기 편의를 돕고 안전사고를 예방하기 위해 관내 주소정보시설에 대한 대대적인 정비 사업에 착수한다.
세종시는 오는 7월 30일까지 건물번호판과 도로명판을 포함한 총 4만 1,977개의 주소정보시설을 대상으로 일제 점검을 실시한다고 9일 밝혔다.
이번 점검은 관련 법령에 따라 매년 시행되는 정기 사업으로, 도시 미관 개선은 물론 노후 시설물 낙하로 인한 인명 및 재산 피해를 방지하는 데 목적이 있다.
시는 특히 설치한 지 10년이 지나 내구연한이 도래한 도로명판에 대해 전문업체 위탁 점검을 병행한다. 이는 여름철 집중호우나 태풍 등 자연재해 시 발생할 수 있는 안전사고를 선제적으로 차단하기 위한 조치다.
점검 방식에도 첨단 IT 기술이 도입된다. 시는 주소정보관리시스템과 연동되는 모바일 단말기인 ‘스마트KAIS’를 현장에 투입한다.
점검 요원들은 이 단말기를 통해 시설물의 훼손 여부, 설치 높이의 적정성, 위치 정확도 등을 실시간으로 촬영하고 데이터를 입력함으로써 현장 조사의 정확도를 대폭 끌어올릴 계획이다.
