[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 거제시는 관광객 유치 확대와 지역경제 활성화를 위해 ‘2026년 심쿵섬쿵 거제 반값여행’ 시범사업을 추진한다고 10일 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 거제시 외에 거주하는 관광객 2~4인이 1팀을 구성하여 거제를 1박 이상 여행하는 경우를 대상으로 한다.
거제 여행 중 발생한 지원대상 소비금액을 여행 종료 후 7일 이내 증빙자료와 함께 신청하면 지역상품권으로 50%(최대 20만 원 이내)를 환급해 줌으로써 관광객의 체류시간을 늘리고 지역 내 소비를 유도하는 데 목적이 있다.
참여 희망자는 오는 13일부터 5월 29일까지 거제 반값여행 홈페이지를 통해 온라인으로만 사전 신청할 수 있으며, 예산 소진 시 조기 마감된다. 실제 여행은 15일부터 5월 31일까지 가능하며, 여행 종료 후 일정 요건을 충족하면 지원금을 지급받을 수 있다.
지원금을 받기 위해서는 ▲관내 숙박시설 1박 이상 이용 ▲유료 관광지 및 전통시장 각 1개소 이상 방문 ▲개인 SNS 홍보(팀 전원 사진 포함) ▲지원대상 소비금액이 10만 원 이상 등 4가지 지원요건(Mission)을 모두 충족해야 한다.
특히 입장료, 체험비, 유람선 탑승료, 식당 및 카페 이용료 등 지역 전반에 걸친 소비를 유도하되, 숙박비와 렌터카, 주유비, 유흥ㆍ단란주점 이용 금액 등은 지원금 산정에서 제외된다.
