(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 10일, 한국매니페스토실천본부가 실시한 ‘2026년 전국 기초단체장 공약이행 및 정보공개 평가’에서 최고등급(SA)을 획득했다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 이는 민선 8기 출범 이후 5년 연속 최고등급을 달성한 것으로, 시민과의 약속을 책임 있게 이행해 온 결과다.
이번 평가는 지난해 12월 말 기준 공약이행 자료를 바탕으로 공약이행 완료, 2025년 목표달성, 주민소통, 웹소통, 공약일치도 등 5개 분야에 걸쳐 진행됐다.
부천시는 시민평가단 운영과 분기별 점검, 정보공개 등을 통해 공약 이행의 투명성과 책임성을 강화해 왔으며, 시 홈페이지에 공약 추진 일정과 예산, 평가 결과 등을 공개하는 전용 페이지를 운영한 점이 이번 평가에서 높은 평가를 받는 요인으로 작용했다.
남동경 권한대행은 “이번 성과는 시민과의 약속을 성실히 이행하고 그 과정을 투명하게 공개하며 꾸준히 소통해 온 결과”라며 “앞으로도 시민이 체감할 수 있는 변화를 만들고 삶의 질을 높이는 데 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 부천시는 교통·경제·문화·보육·교육 등 10대 분야 98건과 원미·소사·오정 3개 생활권 분야 56건 등 총 154건의 공약을 추진하고 있으며, 택시복지센터 건립, 옥길 문화체육센터 건립, 지역사회 통합돌봄 확대 등 97건의 공약을 완료했다.
