【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군은 오는 5월 2일 토요일 오후 1시, 진천군립도서관 광장에서 ‘제5회 생거진천 북 페스티벌 및 2026 진천의 책 선포식’을 개최한다고 밝혔다.
올해로 다섯 번째를 맞이한 이번 북 페스티벌은 ‘2026 진천의 책 선포식’을 비롯해 김혜정, 유영광 작가와의 만남, 버블 매직쇼, 버스킹 공연, 다채로운 체험 부스 등 다양한 프로그램으로 구성된다.
특히 ‘2026 진천의 책 독서 릴레이’는 4월 24일(금)까지 진천군립도서관 누리집을 통해 사전 신청한 군민에게 우선 참여 기회가 제공되며, 현장 신청은 잔여 수량에 한해 선착순으로 진행된다.
이 밖에도 어린이를 동반한 가족 단위 참여자를 위한 만들기 체험 부스, 알뜰 도서전, 퀴즈 이벤트 등 다양한 프로그램이 마련돼 세대를 불문하고 누구나 함께 즐길 수 있는 행사로 운영될 예정이다.
배보희 군 평생학습센터 관계자는 “생거진천 북 페스티벌이 책과 군민을 연결하고, 지역사회가 독서를 매개로 소통하고 성장하는 계기가 되길 기대한다”며 “군민 여러분의 많은 관심과 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.
