【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시가 주민이 주도하는 농촌 활성화의 굳건한 뿌리를 내리고 있다.
충주시농촌활성화지원센터는 주민들의 다양한 의견을 수렴하고 이를 바탕으로 주민 주도의 마을 발전을 이끌어갈 ‘소통전문가 양성교육’을 활발히 진행 중이라고 10일 밝혔다.
센터는 지난 3월 모집 공고를 내고 주민자치의 중요성 및 소통전문역량 등에 깊은 관심을 가진 20명의 인원을 선발했다.
교육은 충주시 농촌지역 주민 간의 소통 역량 강화 및 다양한 의견의 효과적 수렴․조정을 담당할 인재 양성을 위해 4월부터 본격 운영을 시작했다.
교육 과정은 △퍼실리테이션(문제해결, 비전탐구 등에서의 중재 및 조정․촉진 활동)의 이해 △퍼실리테이션 도구기법 △생각 발산 및 민주적 의사결정 기법 적용 △촉진 커뮤니케이션 및 갈등 대응 역량 강화 등으로 구성된다.
또한, 이론과 실습을 병행해 현장에서 즉시 적용할 수 있는 실천 역량 육성을 중점적으로 다룰 예정이다.
센터는 다양한 연령대의 주민들이 함께 참여라는 교육을 통해 지역 내 상호 이해와 협력 기반이 강화되고 지속적인 소통 네트워크 형성에도 긍정적인 효과가 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다.
최판길 센터장은 “이번 교육을 통해 주민들이 스스로 의견을 모으고 결과를 만들어가는 과정이 정착되길 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 주민 주도의 마을 발전을 위한 다양한 지원을 지속 추진할 계획”이라고 말했다.
