브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= KT는 태블릿형 IPTV 단말 ‘지니 TV 탭 4’를 13일 출시한다고 밝혔다.
지니 TV 탭 4는 전국 KT 매장과 공식 온라인몰 ‘KT 닷컴’, 고객센터를 통해 구매 및 가입이 가능하다.
지니 TV 탭 4의 가장 큰 특징은 콘텐츠 접근성과 스마트 기능이 대폭 강화됐다는 점이다. 지니 TV 위젯 기능을 통해 별도의 앱 실행 없이 홈 화면에서 클릭 한 번으로 인기 VOD 콘텐츠를 즉시 시청할 수 있다.
여기에 구글의 최신 AI 모델인 ‘제미나이(Gemini)’ 호출 기능이 탑재돼 콘텐츠 검색은 물론 일상적인 정보 문의까지 음성으로 간편하게 처리할 수 있어, 한층 진화한 AI 비서 경험을 제공한다.
지니 TV 탭 4는 전작과 동일한 11인치 화면과 7040mAh 배터리를 유지하면서도 25W 고속충전을 지원해 사용 편의성과 휴대성이 개선됐다. 또한, 6GB 메모리(RAM)와 128GB 저장용량을 탑재해 쾌적한 사용 환경을 제공하며, 최대 2TB까지 지원하는 외장 스토리지를 통해 대용량 콘텐츠 저장도 가능하다.
