(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천해양경찰서가 오는 16일부터 22일까지 7일간 연안해역 안전사고 예방을 위해 안전사고 위험예보 ‘주의보’ 단계를 발령한다고 밝혔다.
인천해경에 따르면, 이번 기간은 대조기에 해당해 평소보다 조수간만의 차가 크고 해수면 상승 속도가 빨라, 갯벌 고립·추락·익수 등 연안사고 발생 위험이 높을 것으로 예상된다.

양종타 서장은 “대조기에는 짧은 시간에도 물이 빠르게 차올라 고립될 수 있다”며 “연안활동 전 반드시 물때를 확인하고, 출입 가능 시간과 구명조끼 착용 등 기본 안전수칙을 철저히 지켜달라”고 당부했다.
안전사고 위험예보제는 기상악화나 자연재난 등으로 연안해역 안전사고 발생 우려가 있을 때 위험성을 국민에게 미리 알리는 제도로, ‘관심·주의보·경보’ 3단계로 구분된다.
