<브레이크뉴스 홍천 = 김일웅 기자> 홍천군의 대표 효자 특화 작목으로 자리 잡은 '홍천 부추'가 올해 첫 출하를 알리며 전국 소비자들의 입맛 사로잡기에 나섰다.
14일 홍천군에 따르면, 관내 33개 농가(약 13.6ha 규모)가 정성껏 재배한 홍천 부추가 본격적인 생산 및 출하에 돌입했다. 올해는 지난해 생산량인 24톤을 훌쩍 뛰어넘는 총 27톤 출하를 목표로 굵은 땀방울을 흘리고 있다.
특히, 이번에 출하된 홍천 부추는 서울 가락동 농수산물도매시장에서 500g 기준 약 3,000원 선에 거래되며 지난해에 이어 도매시장 내 최고 수준의 몸값을 자랑하고 있다. 이는 홍천 부추 특유의 뛰어난 품질과 안정적인 생산 기반이 시장에서 긍정적인 평가를 받은 결과로 풀이된다.

홍천군 부추작목반 관계자는 "군의 지속적인 시설 지원과 농가들의 재배 기술 향상이 시너지를 발휘해 부추의 품질과 생산량이 대폭 개선됐다"며, "앞으로도 안정적인 판로를 개척하고 홍천 부추의 브랜드 가치를 높이는 데 전력을 다하겠다"고 전했다.
