<브레이크뉴스 횡성 = 김일웅 기자> 횡성군이 난임으로 고민하는 부부들의 경제적 부담을 덜어주고 건강한 임신과 출산을 돕기 위해 한방 의료비 지원이라는 든든한 조력자로 나섰다.
14일 횡성군보건소는 난임 부부의 임신 가능성을 높이고 치료 선택의 폭을 넓히기 위해 '한방 난임 의료비 지원 사업'을 활발히 추진하고 있다고 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 양방 지원에 한정됐던 기존 틀에서 벗어나 한방 치료를 통한 신체 기능 강화와 건강한 임신 환경 조성을 돕기 위해 마련됐다. 지원 대상은 신청일 현재 횡성군에 주민등록을 둔 난임 부부(1년 이상 사실혼 포함)로, 2년 이내에 발급받은 난임 진단서를 제출하면 된다.
대상자로 선정되면 1인당 첩약 비용으로 최대 150만 원까지 지원받을 수 있다. 특히 횡성군 내 지정된 8개소 한의원에서 4개월간의 집중 한방 치료와 이후 2개월간의 사후 경과 관찰까지 체계적인 관리를 받게 된다.
김영대 횡성군보건소장은 "이번 지원 사업이 난임 부부들의 절실한 경제적 부담을 실질적으로 줄여주고, 간절히 바라는 건강한 임신과 출산으로 이어지는 가교 구실을 하길 기대한다"고 전했다.
