(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 농림축산식품부와 한국농수산식품유통공사(이하 aT)가 오는 4월 20일까지 정부 비축농산물 보관창고 확충을 위해 ‘정부 비축농산물 민간창고 풀(후보군)’ 등록업체를 모집한다고 밝혔다.
aT에 따르면, ‘민간창고 풀’은 aT가 운영하는 비축기지의 수용 능력을 초과하는 물량 발생에 대비하여, 일정 요건을 갖춘 우수한 민간 창고를 사전에 등록·관리하는 제도다.
현재 전국에 86개를 운영하고 있으며 배추, 무, 밀, 콩 등의 비축농산물을 보관 중이다.
풀에 등록된 창고는 향후 정부 비축농산물 보관 수요 발생 시 입찰을 통해 임차계약을 체결하고 비축농산물을 보관하게 된다.
등록 대상은 정부 비축농산물을 적정하게 보관할 수 있는 저온저장 시설 등을 갖춘 민간 창고업자다.
신청 자격은 일정 면적 이상의 시설 보유, 3년 이상의 농산물 저장 경력, 화재보험 가입 등 안전하게 보관하기 위한 요건들을 갖춰야 한다.
신청은 창고 소재지 관할 aT 지역본부 담당자에게 우편 또는 이메일로 4월 20일까지 접수하면 된다.
이후 현장점검과 시설 평가를 거쳐 5월 말 최종 결정되며, 풀에 등록된 업체는 향후 공사의 비축농산물 위탁보관 입찰에 참여할 수 있는 자격을 부여받아 국가 수급 안정 사업에 동참하게 된다.
