【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군이 인공지능(AI)과 스마트 시티 기술을 결합해 행정 효율을 높이고 주민 생활 속 에너지 절감을 실현하는 정책을 본격화한다.
글로벌 에너지 위기에 대응해 ‘스마트 행정·스마트 생활’ 두 축을 강화하며 군민이 체감하는 변화를 만들어가고 있다.
군은 이달 8일부터 ‘생성형 AI 행정업무 지원 플랫폼’을 도입해 보고서·공문 작성과 요약 등 반복 업무를 자동화하고 있다.
챗GPT, 제미나이, 클로드 등 60여 종의 다양한 AI 모델을 선택해 활용할 수 있어 업무 특성에 맞는 맞춤형 지원이 가능하다.
앞서 올해 2월부터 시행된 ‘종이 없는 회의’는 모든 회의를 태블릿 PC 기반으로 전환해 행정 효율성을 높이고 종이 사용을 크게 줄여 친환경 행정의 모범 사례로 자리 잡았다.
군은 주민 생활 공간에 태양광 등 친환경 에너지 설비를 확대하는 신재생에너지 융복합지원사업을 추진하고 있다.
또한 주민 의견을 반영해 지난해 10월 보강천 등 어두운 산책로 7곳에 지능형 스마트 가로등을 설치했다.
스마트 가로등은 사람이 지나가면 서서히 밝아지고, 멀어지면 다시 어두워지는 방식으로 에너지 절감과 안전을 동시에 확보한다.
군 관계자는 “글로벌 에너지 위기는 우리 군의 스마트 행정 역량을 증명하는 기회가 되고 있다”며, “AI 행정과 주민 체감형 에너지 정책을 마을 단위까지 확대해 군민이 체감하는 스마트 행정을 실현하겠다”고 밝혔다.
