세종시자율방재단연합회, ‘재난대응 역량강화 교육

세종시 지역자율방재단연합회가 14일 조치원읍 행복누림터(복합커뮤니티센터)에서 읍면동 지역자율방재단장과 단원 등 200여 명을 대상으로 ‘재난대응 역량강화 교육’을 진행했다.

이번 교육은 실제 재난 발생 시 신속하고 체계적으로 대응할 수 있는 능력을 높이고, 다가오는 여름철 풍수해에 대비해 주민대피 지원 요령을 전달하기 위해 마련됐다. 

지역자율방재단은 평소 재해우려 지역의 안전예찰, 배수로 정비 등 예방활동부터 재난상황 발생 시 주민 사전대피 및 복구활동까지 다양한 활동을 펼치며 지역사회 안전망의 핵심 역할을 수행하고 있다.

양길수 연합회장은 “기후 위기로 인해 갈수록 재난을 예측하기가 어려워지는 만큼 자율방재단의 선제적인 대응 능력이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “이번 교육에서 익힌 생존 기술과 주민대피 요령을 바탕으로 시민의 소중한 생명과 재산을 지키는 든든한 파수꾼 역할을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
