15일 가평군에 따르면, 군은 산림 자원을 활용한 소득 창출과 지역 경제 활성화를 도모하기 위해 ‘가평군 산림아카데미’를 신설하고 오는 16일부터 20일까지 제1기 수강생 40명을 선착순으로 모집한다.
이번 산림아카데미는 관내 군민과 임업인들에게 실질적으로 필요한 전문 교육을 체계적으로 제공하기 위해 마련됐다. 교육은 오는 5월 6일 첫 수업을 시작으로 11주간 매주 수요일, 가평군 산림생태문화체험단지 내 에코센터에서 진행될 예정이다.
주요 교육 과정은 산림 분야에 대한 전반적인 기본 교육은 물론, 임산물 재배 기술 등 현장에서 즉시 활용 가능한 실무 중심의 커리큘럼으로 구성됐다. 또한, 우수 사례 현장 견학을 포함해 단순한 이론 교육을 넘어 임가의 실질적인 소득 증대에 기여할 수 있는 맞춤형 교육으로 진행된다.
